The last time I posted my blog was year 2009. Almost 2 years of no postings, now I think I'm ready again to share my family, life and career stories to my fellow bloggers out there. I'm 7 months pregnant when I stopped blogging. Being a mom for a fourth time needs a lot of preparation. Now that my youngest fourth baby is 1 year and 4 months old I can manage to have more time for myself and for everything else.

By the way as a proof that my baby daughter is already a toddler...here are her pictures.

A very tragic weekend had passed by in everyone of us. You know what I mean...the very devastating typhoon "Ondoy". Many Filipinos are now in the middle of crisis on how to cope up with this tragedy. Many have died, many are still missing, many have lost their homes but many are willing to help...to lend their hands in every way.

Most affected areas are Marikina, Rizal, Pasig and some provinces in North Luzon. Me and my family live in Manggahan Pasig nearby the floodway, Marikina, Cainta Rizal and Quezon City. Luckily and with GOD'S MIRACLE our subdivision was spared from the flash flood being experienced by every Filipino in those times.

In these trying times, the best that we could do is to have faith and pray to God. Please help those in needs. May we always have his blessings and guidance. Take care every one and don't lose hope.

Physical Therapist was in demand the time I graduated in College so I thought there was a big break for me waiting abroad. After I took the licensure examination and passed it, the popularity suddenly declined:< So, no option for me but to shift to another profession. I was a former Medical Representative from different multinational pharmaceutical companies....basically I entered into the world of sales. Sales is my bread-and-butter ever since, so I know how rewarding this job is. I was earning a basic salary plus allowances, commissions and incentives in cash and in kind like free trips out of town or out of the country . But, eventually I felt a need to expose myself to a different field, a different atmosphere, a more challenging job but more rewarding. Then, that time, I came to discovered Real Estate...

History of My Careeer Part 1

I am an ordinary woman but with extraordinary thinking....I look into things with different perspectives and beyond it's meaning. That's why if you will study my career history you will be amaze!:> When I was still a kid, my future plan for my profession was to be a Stewardess or what we so-called Flight Attendant. Since I did not grew up well with my expected height:<(maybe because my mother is small 4'11"), my height is just 5'2"(height of an average Filipina) I had changed my mind to become a doctor instead. I thought becoming a doctor was the realization of becoming rich in the Philippines....he he! But, I was wrong, not all Doctors of Human Medicine are successful in their chosen careers. Right moved for me because I had an early discovery that in order for doctors to become rich...you should also be rich and your family should be powerful in order to attract richy rich patients....poor me:< my family is not rich and can't afford to let me study medicine. Anyway, these anticipation has made me more open to another course. The lucky degree was Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. This was meant for me...that was I thought. After passing the entrance examination in a state university "Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila(PLM), I was ready to pursue my chosen course. This 5-year course was very stressing and very challenging but was able to finished the studies and passed the PRC licensure examination.

I am a Licensed Real Estate Broker Finally!

After a long wait and hardship...I finally made it to the top! I am now truly a LICENSED REAL ESTATE BROKER after passing the licensure examination given last May 31, 2009 and being the top 3 rank nationwide together with my husband Roldan C. Binuya as top 4 nationwide. Can you imagine husband and wife being the topnotchers among the 1,944 examinees? With the joint effort and tandem determination and of course with love and trust to each other and most especially with God's guidance...our dreams come true. This will be the start of the new beginning and reality of our plans. Thank you for the support of our parents and inspiration from our children. This achievement is for them!

Air France 447

It was an astonishing news when Air France 447 flight from Rio de Janeiro to Paris with 228 people passengers disappeared in the thick air over Atlantic Ocean. It was assumed that this tragedy had caused death to all passengers including the pilots and crew of the jet plane. Five days since the accident, the rescue team from different countries have failed to find for any signs of life and even the debris of the plane in the crashed site.

The families of the passengers are still hoping to find their loved ones alive.

This tragic event is so scary if you will think that life is so vulnerable to waste. Let's hope and pray that there are still survivors in the said tragedy. And for those relatives who are waiting patiently and keep believing that their loved ones are still alive....keep on praying.

Bra Collection

I went to SM Mega Mall yesterday and I bought underwear(bras). Actually I'm collecting different designs of brassiere and bikini. I want to splurge myself with these items not just because I want it but because I want to feel the comfort of being a woman...;) You know?... You must at least give yourself a break! Go shopping and buy what you want. But it doesn't mean that you should waste your money for unimportant material things. For me, sometimes shopping is an outlet for us women to feel that we are still human and in need to indulge the beauty and experience what life can offer.

Future Plans

Hello everyone! It's been 2 months since I stopped blogging. The very first reason was because of the preparation for the Real Estate Broker's Licensure Examination. I'm just waiting for the result which will come out anytime soon. Second, been very busy with my kids for the preparation of the coming school year and last but not the least with my work.

My husband and I were planning for our future business in real estate and I am very excited and quite nervous for the new challenge in our lives. Our tandem efforts and joint knowledge mixed with love and God's guidance....I know everything will be on-hand. We have so many things to do but everything will be handy and reachable....only time will tell.

First Trimester Obstetrical Ultrasound Report

I went to Makati Medical Center this morning because of significant vaginal bleeding secondary to pregnancy.. I had undergone an internal examination in the delivery room and was also referred for Transvaginal Ultrasound. According to my estimated due date, I was 6 weeks and 1 day pregnant but the ultrasound result revealed a 4 weeks and 1 day age of gestation. My OB-GYNE had told me that my expected baby will never make it through. It have to be remove naturally or else I will be hospitalize. It gave us a sudden burst of sadness...I LOST MY BABY! I am very eager to have a fourth baby....baby girl if God will provide....to be my youngest and last baby of our family. But, I think it is not the right time yet to have a new baby...I know in a couple of months if I'm fully prepared and with God's will, a new baby will COME. I know God has a plan for us.....

Kabayan Beach Resort Summer Getaway!

It's summer again and we can feel the heat that's why we decided to spend our weekend in a beach resort for relaxation and family bonding. Kabayan Beach Resort is located in Laiya San Juan,Batangas. The entrance fee for a day tour was 100 pesos each for adult and 50 pesos each for children 12 years old and below. Nipa hut costs us for only 1,000 pesos which can accommodate for up to 15 persons. We had a great time and we will definitely come back for an overnight stay.

Been busy for the past few weeks now and I'm trying to catch up. Busy from my errands at work, family and myself. Recently, I went to my OB-GYNE for a Papsmear and immunization for cervical cancer. One week later, we went to Tagaytay for our family weekend getaway. This week, we had been to NBI(National Bureau of Investigation) for the NBI clearance renewal together with my husband. This week, we are scheduled for another weekend summer getaway to Kabayan Beach Resort in Laiya San Juan Batangas. Next week, my husband and I will go to DFA(Department of Foreign Affairs) for passport renewal. I really missed blogging and also missed my online friends and fellow bloggers. Anyway, add up to my errands, I am thinking this very moment that I am preggy....whew!Lol!..yes, right, but have to get a pregnancy test kit first for assurance. Will let you know guys, the soonest possible time when I got the result. God Bless!

Coping with Stress

There are various ways for individuals and their loved ones to cope with stress and other difficult situations. A good start in developing resilience and coping skills is to become informed about mental and behavioral health. Knowledge can empower individuals and their loved ones to achieve personal growth, understanding, positive changes and emotional well-being.

A mental health professional, such as a psychiatrist or psychologist, may be able to first evaluate the need, and then provide appropriate coping tips and referrals for support groups. Other sources of information on mental and behavioral health include the Internet, community centers and libraries.

Tips and strategies for coping with stress include:

Eat a well-balanced and healthful diet.

*
Avoid or reduce alcohol consumption and cigarette smoking.

*
Exercise regularly and get adequate amounts of sleep.

*
Engage in activities that boost self-esteem, such as learning a new skill or hobby or joining a local social group.

*
Accept personal feelings. It is normal to experience feelings of anger, sadness and grief from time to time.

*
Build strong, positive relationships with family and friends.

*
Seek medical help when necessary. Individuals should seek assistance from a physician or mental health professional if symptoms of stress are alarming in nature (e.g., pounding heart, shortness of breath, mood disorders) or impede daily functioning.

Coping with stress can be emotionally and physically draining for individuals and their family members, regardless of the source of the stress. One effective way of dealing with stress is ensuring emotional and physical well-being.

People with good mental health have the ability to control their thoughts, feelings and behaviors most of the time. They usually have strong support systems. Such people have a strong foundation of mental health that allows them to keep problems in the proper perspective. They can also adapt to stress, adversity and traumatic events. This ability is called resilience and it is an important component of coping with life’s challenges in general.

Resilience includes remaining psychologically stable in the face of adversity or chaos. The majority of people experience difficult situations at some point in their lives (e.g., divorce, job loss). Resilient individuals are usually able to continue with daily tasks, remain generally optimistic about life and rebound from adversity in a timely fashion.

Contrary to what some may think, resilience is not about being “tough” or emotionally distant. Rather, it is about reaching out to others for support, accepting and dealing with events in life that one cannot change such as the death of a loved one or a chronic mental illness (e.g., major depression, schizophrenia). Resilience may also help offset certain risk factors (e.g., family history of mental illness, lack of social support, previous trauma) often involved in developing depression.

There are a variety of ways to promote strength and resilience. A good start for developing resilience is expanding protective factors such as becoming informed about mental and behavioral health issues. Individuals who take an active role in personal emotional and physical health are often better able to cope with difficulties when they arise. Knowledge can also help to empower patients.

Other sources of information on coping with stress include the Internet, community centers, libraries and bookstores. Acquaintances, friends and relatives who have had similar experiences may also prove to be valuable resources.

A person’s physical well-being can significantly impact their emotional and mental health and vice versa. Actively promoting good health can help build resilience to cope with stress and other life difficulties.

Get adequate rest. Proper relaxation and sleep habits can go a long way toward promoting emotional and physical well-being. Sleep requirements differ among individuals. Most adults require seven to eight hours of sleep, but some people need only four to five hours. Also, practicing relaxation techniques such as biofeedback, meditation or massage therapy can help reduce stress and alleviate anxiety, insomnia and depression.

Participate in activities that boost self-esteem, such as learning a new skill or hobby or joining a local social group. Low self-esteem can be damaging because it can affect a person’s body, mind and spirit. It has been associated with a wide array of problems including emotional disorders (e.g., depression, eating disorders).

Establish a healthy social network. Strong, positive relationships with family and friends are an important source of support. They can fulfill an individual’s need to belong, which helps prevent loneliness, especially during hard times. In addition, family members and other loved ones can help ensure that an individual seeks proper treatment (e.g., counseling) when necessary.

Work to resolve conflicts with other people in a positive way, such as by talking in an objective, non-accusatory manner.

Set realistic goals at home, school or work. It is important to realize how little time there may be in the day to accomplish all necessary tasks. Whenever possible, delegate or schedule tasks in a manner that allows extra time for their completion.

Prepare to the best of one’s ability for stressful events, such as job interviews. This can promote peace of mind and help one succeed in such situations.

Pap Smear

Pap smear is a also called as Pap Test. It is a noninvasive procedure done by doctors to detect cervical cancer or cervical abnormalities. Cervix is the lower part of the uterus, or the connection between the uterus(womb) and vagina.

The procedure involves:
1. Collecting cells from the cervix and vagina
2. Preparing the cell sample for evaluation under a microscope
3. Examining the cell sample for infections, abnormal cells that may grow into cancerous tumor, and cancer.

Every woman should done this test once a year in order to detect any abnormalities that might arise in the cervix. Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer and the second most common caused of death in women. We should not deprive ourselves for this routine test because it will save our lives. We should love and take care of ourselves in order for us to effectively attend to the needs of our love ones. All women out there, single or married, with kids or without kids, sexually-active or not should have to consider this great medical routine.

Nagmana sa mommy!

Last Sunday we went to Tagaytay. It was a bad weather and we never had the chance to go to Picnic Grove, Residence Inn and Paradizoo. The only tourist spot we were able to see was Palace in the Sky. It was foggy and windy though it was fun. We had our dinner at Dencios Restaurant. I had been in Tagaytay many times but my objective last weekend was for my kids to enjoy the place. I never expected that it would be a rainy day in Tagaytay. We will be going back there for sure!

Origanize Your Closet

Foldables
Fold clothes in one standard style and size too make your closet look near and impressive.
How to arrange
* If you don't have built-in storage shelves, opt for metal shelf dividers available in the market. Make individual stacks by grouping tops according to: sleeve length(tank tops, short sleeves, long sleeves), kind(polo shirts, casual tees), or color(blacks, blues, reds, beiges). Go with whichever works best for you.
* Tuck the arms to prevent sleeves from showing and getting wrinkled. When stacking place the bulkiest at the bottom to prevent crushing of delicate items.
* Dressier garments of delicate fibers deserve special treatment. Premium cashmere, sequined, beaded, vintage, or other vulnerable pieces should be be carefully folded and individually stored in paper boxes or canvas bags to prevent snagging and tugging.
* Make sure that everything that you will store is totally clean. Odors and/or the slightest of dirt trapped in the fibers of a single garment can attract moths to the whole stack.
* Hoods and turtlenecks should be left hanged over the back of a stack otherwise the extra bulk may shake off the pile's balance.
* Fasten all buttons and zip up all zippers before folding to preserve the garment's shape.
Storing sweaters and cold weather garments
* Avoid dark, warm humid spaces. They have the perfect condition for months and mildew to flourish.
* Don't use mothballs. They can irritate skin and eyes, and the smell can be hard to remove. Yes, they kill insects but they aren't necessary if you're storing clean clothes in a dry place for just a few months.
* Use hangers to prevent creases but take precautions against the marks they can leave. Wrap quilt filling or muslin around the bars on pant hangers, and use the line the clips of skirt hangers as well.
* Go easy on delicates. Lay blouses and sweaters flat when possible to avoid deep wrinkles. Or double them over, folding softly where necessary.

Quick Tip: Fold all knit tops and sweaters. Hanging them may lead to deformed shoulders and too much stretching.

Bags and purses
Arrange large bags that can stand by themselves side by side on a shelf. Kikay bags and flat clutches are best stacked. Group smaller purses separately so they don't get lost among bigger ones. You may also want to consider stacking similarly shaped ones within each other. Store rarely used bags of leather or suede in cloth slacks to keep them in their crisp form.

Quick Tip: Baskets make for convenient organizers. Bunch bags and purses of the same color scheme together.

Hangables
It's a welcome sight to see your clothes neatly lined up on your closet rod. And yes, pants are best hung.
How to arrange
* Separate jackets from blouses, skirts, and pants(including slacks and jeans). Group by sleeve or hem length, solids or prints, or color.
* With sheer or delicate skirts, place a small piece of canvas(paper can be a substitute) between the hanger clip and waistband. Or opt for rubber-lined clips to protect your skirts from marks. If you have time, sew ribbon loops at the waistband and use these to hang the skirt.
* a suit may be treated as separates. Let your jacket join your other jackets, pants with other pants, etc.
* Pants with ironed-in creases or liston should be folded along each other crease and clipped at the edges.
* Flat-fronts should be secured at the outermost edge. Never pull a waist-band too tight between clips as it stretches the clothing.

Buying hangers
Uniform hangers help put order in your clothes.
Spend for:
Plastic tubular: These are inexpensive and all-purpose)pt for those with "hooks" for shoulder straps).
Basic clip: Go for rubber-lined clips that won't damage your clothes.
Skip the:
Clamp: They leave ugly marks and are never long enough to secure a full waistband.
Tiered: It only adds bulk and clogs your closet.

Hang regularly used necklaces on pegs, hooks, or belt rack. Expensive jewelry are best placed individually in cloth bags. Always close all clasps to avoid tangling.
Scarves
Wool scarves should be rolled while silk, rayon, and other fabrics may be hanged on special hangers or folded and stored in a cloth bin or your extra open bag. In the case of fringed scarves, fold in half then roll, with the tassels facing out.
Footwear
If you prefer to store shoes on a shelf rather than wire racks, group them according to heel height. However, wire racks help shoes breathe and save space. Place frequently used pairs on eye level for convenience. Flip-flops and slippers should be individually stored in clear boxes, soles together. Line up boots on the closet floor. To prevent the spread of dirt and odor, make sure the hems of your clothes don't touch even the top of your boots.

Is the most significant milestones in the areas of development in children.The influence of growth and its possible deviations are important considerations in the management of children with disability. Developmental assessment that translates behavior into age values requires adjustment for motor dysfunction and for cognitive or other associated disabilities when such deficits are present.

When I was practicing my profession as a Physical Therapist, I encountered patients with different types of childhood disabilities and developmental delays that can be seen in cases of Cerebral Palsy, Autism, and other neurological diseases that greatly affects the normal functioning of a child. It is important for us to know, specially us moms, the normal stages of our child's development:

Gross Motor refers to the movements that involve large muscle groups. These may include walking, kicking, jumping, and climbing stairs.
Newborn - flexor tone(also known as neonatal muscle tone)
4 months - the child can now roll from prone(head and body facing down) to supine(face and body facing up)
5 months - babies can pull to sit
6 months - your baby can now sit with support
7 months - the child can now roll from supine(face and body facing down) to prone(head and body facing down)
8 months - your baby can now sit without support
10 months - your baby can do creeping, cruising and pull to stand
14 months - can now walk with arms in high-guard position(arms spread both sides)
18 months - your child can walk with arms in low-guard position; can walk backward
2 y/o - begins to run; ascend and descend stairs without alternating feet; tandem walk unsteady; starts to use a tricycle
3 y/o - runs well; jumping, squatting; tricycling; mature gait(walking) pattern; ascend and descend with alternating feets
4 y/o - hops
5 y/o - skips; tiptoes; tandem walk steady; kick a ball well; unilateral standing(standing in one foot) for 10 seconds

What is Autism?
Autism is a complicated, lifelong neurodevelopmental disability that affects the way a person communicates and relates to people around him. It is defined by the presence of impairments affecting social interaction, communication, and imagination. All over the world, it affects one in every 500.

Symptoms
Most of the parents' concerns center on delayed speech and language development and this should be taken seriously. Other red flags in 18-to-24-month-olds include poor eye contact, lack of response to name or to social "comments," difficulty understanding words, being "in a world of their own," repetitive behaviors, and unusual use of objects associated with language delay and other social features.

Steps to take
Once diagnosis is confirmed, consider a focused and individualized early intervention program that must be broad enough to address the full range of impairments. Parents need counseling and support. They must be given information about appropriate programs, parent support groups and other community support systems. There is no one best method for teaching children with autism. However, it is the involvement of parents, teachers/therapist and advocates of the child that is critical.

The outcome
The future outcome for a child with autism is closely linked to his or her verbal abilities, intelligence, family support and educational and behavioral programs. Depending on IQ and language abilities, an individual wit autism should be able to live independently or thrive in a supported or interdependent living environment and can be expected to have a typical lifespan. Early identification and good educational programs have significantly improved the future for children with autistic spectrum disorders. Intensive parent participation, however plays a critical factor in the outcome.

This is the toy of my youngest son, Baby Roldz. He used play this toy when he was 1 year old but now he is fond of playing cars.
This is the toy of my daughter, Maxine. This was given by her Grandmother(mother of my husband). It was bought last year all the way from US(united states). That's how Maxine being loved by her lola.
This is the favorite toy of Maki, my eldest son when he was still 3 years old. But now, he likes playing Gameboy(gift from me last Christmas) and sometimes PC games. My son is very techie, he knows already how to use a computer.

Love Letter From My Husband

This is the "only" love letter I received from my husband. He attached this letter to the roses he gave to me last year of February 14, 2008 because we had a misunderstanding that took us one(1) long week to reconcile . My husband is not the type of man that can show his love in public...in short he is not showy. He is very blunt in expressing his feelings. It is so sad, but this is the truth about him. Plan For My New House

We are now living in our new house in Pasig City. House extension is my big plan in the near future. I am really excited and very eager for this major expansion because I want to have more space in my "dwelling" particularly in the kitchen area. Weekend Get Away

My family and I had spent the weekend in Kalipayan Resort, Dasmarinas Cavite. It was an affordable outing since I had paid 1,180 pesos($25) only, which already includes entrance and cottage fees. It was so priceless seeing my kids so happy as they can be. Outing like this is one of my dreams when I was a child. I grew up without the luxury of pleasure trips. That's why I want my children to experience the treat of life as much as possible.

The happiness I saw in my children's eyes is irreplaceable, that I can value for a lifetime, an every mother's aspiration for their wonderful chikitings(children).

My pregnancy with my daughter went very well but my pregnancy with my youngest son was quite tough. I thought I'll be having a delivery through ceasarian because his umbilical cord was being entangled to his neck. But, thanks God! I was able to gave birth normally and most of all safely.

Paranormal is a general term that describes unusual experiences that lack a scientific explanation, or phenomena alleged to be outside of science's current ability to explain or measure. Paranormal field is a mysterious one, full of things like the disembodied spirit (ghost) which decides to communicate with, and haunt the living, the incredible power of the human mind and will, amazing lights (ghost lights) that appear in the middle of no where, and other things that science can not explain. Paranormal Phenomena is also known as Supernatural Phenomena.

Do you believe in paranormal?
I was a skeptic at first about paranormal but when my brother died I became a believer. I was the one who predicted of his incoming death but I never had the chance to tell to anybody. I was scared that time, I was like a psychic. I was seeing things that will going to happen in the future. The death of my brother had caused me many ghostly sightings of him even in my dreams. But now, I know that he is at peace and he had accepted his untimely death. I LOVE YOU KUYA!

I am very much interested in Paranormal. If I only have the chance to study this field(sigh)...I probably would. This is one of my dreams...to be a paranormal investigator.

Ghost Hunters also known as TAPS(The Atlantic Paranormal Society) is a group of paramormal investigators from the United States of America. Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, plumbers are the founders of the The Atlantic Paranormal Society. TAPS is a group of fairly ordinary people — office managers, factory workers, teachers and even psychic-hotline gurus — moonlighting to understand seemingly unexplainable disturbances. They are a group of real-life paranormal researchers as they investigate hauntings throughout America.

Ghost Hunters International is a group of paranormal investigators searching for bizarre mysteries around the world including England, Scotland, Peru, Singapore, Sweden, Philippines and many others. It is a team of paranormal investigators who use their principles of scientific techniques, to deal with some of the most legendary haunted spots around the world. Each week the crew travels to the far corners of the globe, searching for answers to freaky unearthly mysteries.

These shows can only find in SciFi Channel. Unfortunately in the Philippines, we don't have a local cable provider for this channel so I'm just spending my time watching these programs through You Tube.

I am very much interested in paranormal studies but I know I cannot be a paranormal investigator in real life. Watching every single episodes of Ghost Hunters International(GHI) and Ghost Hunters(TAPS) online is giving me the opportunity to be in their position.

Requirements for Bank Housing Loan

Acquiring a property either it be a condominium or house and lot through Bank Financing, you must understand that it is a long and complex process. In order to qualify and work out your loan, first you need to assess your gross monthly income. The bank requires at least 30% of your whole monthly income or it should be at least 3 times of your monthly amortization depending on the specified years of the loan. For example, your gross monthly income is 100,000 pesos/month. The 30% of the gross is 30,000 pesos. So, 30,000 pesos is your disposable/dispensable monthly income. If you are planning to pay the monthly amortization for 15 years, let's say the monthly amortization is 20,000, then you are qualified for the loan. Other way is by multiplying the monthly amortization three(3) times then the equivalent must be your gross monthly income.

Next step is to complete the requirements.

Blowing Out My Mind!

I've been busy for past few days. I hope I could catch up with you guys...

I just wanted to hear out my mind through this blog....

I am very very happy right now because my real estate business is doing well so far despite of the crisis we are experiencing in our country. Many Filipinos lost their jobs and everyday the count of unemployed is rising. Losing your job is not the right reason to lose your way and end up miserably. You can make a change, you have to be resourceful in finding other ways to earn even you are at home.

CHEER UP FELLOW FILIPINOS! We have so much to look forward. We are fighters....We had encountered so many crisis in the past. This is not the first time, right? Be optimistic, look at the brighter side and act! But don't forget to pray. Prayer is the most powerful tool.

The second toy is a drum, he loves to sing and dance that's why we bought this toy because we thought that it might help him in developing his talent.

You know I really can't measure the love I feel to my partner. Words are not enough to describe the real feelings inside me. It is overwhelming.....

What is the meaning of MARRIAGE?

Marriage is the combining of two souls in to one, however in separate bodies, who promise to stay together in sickness and in good health forever. Marriage is not a contract or a bond that one signs, it is simply done one the will of two people with their consent and happiness.

When two people, of course a man and a woman, feel like they are made for each other and they should spend the rest of their lives together, they get together in the form of marriage, which is a legal process of being an official couple. Marriage is one of the most beautiful things of life in which a person is re born again and changes completely.

However it is required for the person who is getting married to be serious about this process and relationship. One has to think about the whole future with his or her partner and not think it is a piece of cake. After marriage come children, which are another big responsibility.

One should be completely prepared that life is going to change after marriage and no more it is going to be an independent life because once you take your vows to be together for the rest of your life, you should fulfil the promises. It is all about love, care, feelings and compassion.

Acquiring a house and lot through Pagibig Financing

Being in a real estate business has made me more confident in dealing with different people. From low income to elite Filipinos in our country, overseas Filipino Workers(OFWs), immigrant fellow Filipinos abroad and foreigners married to Filipinos. I am selling middle income housing projects with the price range of 1.5M to 5M and high-end housing projects ranging from 6M and up. When I was a newbie in this business I used to sell low income housing projects where most Filipinos apply their Pagibig or HMDF(Housing Mutual Fund Development) contribution to avail a housing loan. Pagibig Fund provides programs that help the needs of the members belonging to the bottom economic level dreaming to acquire their own house. Nowadays, there are so many pagibig housing projects ranging from 500,000 to 1M. So, if you are a minimum wage earner, you can now own a house and lot for as low as 3,000/month. But, the housing loan still depends on your gross monthly income or monthly contribution. So, if you are planning to buy a house and lot through Pagibig Financing, you must first fully understand their housing program. This is their website for your reference: www.pagibigfund.gov.ph.

You must also remember, in acquiring a house and lot through pagibig financing, you should be capable of providing their required documents needed to process your loan. If you don't have time to prepare the requirements then pagibig financing option is not for you.

Pagibig Housing Requirements:

1. Photocopy of Income Tax Return(ITR)- locally employed
2. Cerificate of Employment and Compensation(original, sealed and notarized)- consularized if OFW
3. Latest 3 months payslip
4. Valid Government IDs(photocopy of passport, PRC license, driver's license, SSS ID and etc.)
5. 1x1 ID pictures
6. Photocopy of Birth Certificate, if single
Photocopy of Marriage Certificate, if married
7. Proof of Billing Address(like meralco, PLDT and etc)
8. Photocopy of Company Valid ID
9. MSVS(couselling) slip
10. TIN Number
11. Photocopy of Job Contract(notarized & consularized) - OFW
12. Special Power of Attorney(SPA) - notarized and consularized - OFW
13. Photocopy of POP Book - OFW

Not all housing projects can be applied to pagibig financing especially if the price ranges from 2M and up. Other Financing options are: Bank Financing and Inhouse Financing.

My Asthmatic Son

Maki is the eldest among my three children. Since birth he has been experiencing asthma attacks. It is very difficult for a mother like me to see him sick. Today, I rushed him to the hospital for an immediate treatment because of very prominent difficulty in breathing and wheezing. Our Pediatrician prescribed medicines that can stop trigger asthma attacks. I hope he will be alright. Tomorrow is their 3rd Periodical Exam in school and he wont be able to take the exam as he needed to rest even just for a day.

Being a mother should always be ready and aware of the different types of sickness that our children might encounter. We should always prioritize our children above all. To all the moms out there...God Bless you all and your kids!

Thoughts of anything and everything

Whew! Time is so fast and I couldn't imagine the holiday seasons are now over. The summer is approaching and I am now preparing for the summer vacation outbreak....LOL! I am thinking of the best place to spend the summer heat...of course it would be with my whole family. My kids would really love the beach especially my youngest son that's why I'm thinking of Boracay! Well, aside from thinking of summer vacation, I'm also thinking of the new school year this coming June. Of course, education is the top priority that's why I'm saving a lot. About Birthdays....as early as now, I'm already thinking of my birthday gift to my youngest son who is turning 3 years old this July. He likes to collect hotwheels toy cars. Also thinking of birthday gift for my eldest son, Maki. He loves to collect cartridge for his Gameboy. There'll be no much thinking for the birthday gift to my daughter because her birthday was celebrated last January 8. We went out of town for swimming in All Hands Beach Resort Subic...

I'm also thinking of my wedding anniversary this August. hmmm....does anyone know a special place wherein my husband and I can celebrate just the two of us?..LOL!

So many more things to think about....I can't stop thinking....waaaahhh!!!

Asthma in Children

Asthma is a common condition that causes coughing, wheezing, tightness of the chest and breathlessness. About two-thirds of all children who develop asthma will grow out of it, but left untreated asthma can cause permanent damage to the airways. Very rarely, a severe asthma attack can be fatal.

About asthma

About one in 10 children has asthma and it's the most common long-term medical condition.

Asthma is a condition where the airways become irritated and inflamed. As a result, they:

* become narrower
* produce extra mucus

This makes it more difficult for air to flow into and out of the lungs and causes the symptoms of asthma.

Symptoms of asthma

The symptoms of asthma may be mild, moderate or severe. They may include:

* coughing
* wheezing
* shortness of breath
* tightness in the chest

These symptoms tend to be variable and may stop and start. They are usually worse at night.

Causes of asthma

The exact cause of asthma isn't fully understood at present. Sometimes, the symptoms flare up for no obvious reason, but you may notice certain triggers that set off your child's asthma attack or make their symptoms worse. These triggers irritate the airways in your child's lungs and can include:

* infections such as colds and flu
* irritants such as dust, cigarette smoke, fumes and chemicals
* allergies to pollen, medicines, animals, house dust mites or certain foods
* exercise - especially in cold, dry air
* emotions - laughing or crying very hard can trigger symptoms, as can stress

Factors thought to increase a child's risk of developing asthma include those listed below.

* Asthma often runs in families and children can inherit the tendency to get inflamed airways. Children can also inherit the tendency to have allergies (this is called atopy), which increases the risk of developing asthma.
* Boys are more likely than girls to get asthma as a child.
* If you smoke when pregnant, your baby is more likely to get asthma. Children with parents who smoke around them are also more likely to get asthma.
Diagnosis of asthma

If you think your child has asthma, contact your GP for advice. He or she will ask about your child's symptoms and if you have noticed any factors that trigger the symptoms. Your GP will also do a physical examination, and may ask you about your child's medical history.

Your Doctor may also do one or more of the tests listed below.

* Depending on the age of your child, your doctor may use a device called a peak flow meter to help diagnose asthma. A peak flow meter measures how much, and how fast, air can be expelled from your child's lungs. This device can also be used to monitor whether a treatment is effective.
* A spirometry test can also measure how well your child's lungs are functioning but provides more detailed information than a peak flow meter.
* Other tests such as a chest X-ray may be done to make sure no other breathing problems are present.
* An allergy skin test may be done to find out whether your child is allergic to certain substances.

In children under five, diagnosis may be made if your child responds to asthma treatments.

Asthma attacks - what to do

In the event of an asthma attack you should:

* give your child his/her reliever treatment immediately, preferably with a spacer
* sit your child down (don't lie them down) and try to relax them
* wait five to 10 minutes - if the symptoms don't go away, you should call your GP or an ambulance but continue giving your child their reliever, preferably with a spacer, every few minutes until help arrives

If you go to hospital, take details of your child's treatments with you.

Visit your doctor after your child is discharged from hospital so you can review their treatment.

Living with asthma

Medicines are only part of the treatment for asthma. Asthma also needs to be managed by dealing with the things that make it worse. Identifying and avoiding the things that trigger your child's asthma are an essential part of their overall treatment plan.

Keeping a diary to record anything that triggers your child's asthma can help you to discover a pattern. Frequent occurrence of the following may help identify the trigger.

* Low readings on your child's peak flow meter.
* Disturbed sleep because of coughing or wheezing.
* Missed school or social activities.

The older your child, the more he or she will be able to understand and participate in his/her own asthma management. With good preventative measures and appropriate treatment, most children with asthma lead completely normal lives.

How I Met My Husband(Part 3)

It changes everything after the unforgettable date that we had. The text messages, calls and even our dates became frequent...LOL! I still remember when he was courting me....at first he was very stupid!(sigh)...but eventually he were able to expressed his feelings very well. Take note that, he was not only my suitor that time, I have had lots of suitors from different places and different sizes...in height I mean...LOL! But, my eyes were being focused on him...I knew that I was already INLOVE and finally decided to make it official.

The official announcement of my love for him was made on October 2000. It was one of the happiest day of my life....and still I am very very happy right now that our love story not just ended there but it goes on until now and I know that it will last forever. Right now, I am officially Mrs. Binuya, his wife and partner for life.

How I Met My Husband?(Part 2)

We later on became text mate after that not so good introduction. I did made some investigations about his personal information, family background, educational background and his financial status...LOL!. Since, he was able to passed on my basic standards, I accepted him to be my friend until I finally decided to meet him. Imagine, I was the one who invited him to go out with me!...LOL! Well, I just wanted to see him personally, if he was telling the truth about himself. We set up our meeting place in SM Megamall B inside the department store of the toy's section. You might be thinking, why i chose to meet him in the toy's section of the department store?...it's because I used to collect Gundam figures. I had plans to buy 1 or 2 Gundam figures that time but wasn't able to do so because he came early than expected..wow!....cool!...LOL! He introduced himself with warm smile on his face. I was not surprised by his looks when I first saw him because he had described himself what he really looks like....a not so tall man about 5'5" in height, brown color skin, small cute eyes and with dimples on his right cheek. I admit that I was being attracted by his eyes and smile.....but you know what?!... he was not really my type of guy. Before, I was attracted to tall, mestizo looks men but when I first saw him....I felt something very different....but I just kept it myself. We had our lunch in DAD'S Restaurant that took us 3 hours. I was able to discovered that he was a joker, indeed!..LOL! It was the start of knowing a very interesting and mysterious man.....end of Part 2.

How I Met My Husband(Part I)

Before I start telling the love story of our lives, I would like first to thank "Barry" because of the inspiration he had shared to his blogs.

PART I
How I met my husband? This is a very interesting and quite unique story that can be happen to anyone out there....It was 9 years ago when my husband was madly inlove to a girl named Rose during his college days in UP Diliman. He never missed calling Rose every night. He used to keep his cellphone under his pillow every after their conversation to linger the voice of Rose...LOL! Then, one midnight of June 2000 our romance started, when he accidentally rang my phone while sleeping. I thought it was just an emergency call from my boss or from my parents. I was so sleepy that time and never thought that aside from my parents and my boss, a stranger will disturbed me from sleeping. I answered the phone and I got mad and yelled Roldan(my husband) after I knew that it was a stranger calling me in the middle of the night. I told him not to do that again. But, on the next day it happened again and again on the next few days, it was like a cycle...over and over again...LOL! According to "HIM", that time he was not fully aware of the automatic keypad lock feature of his mobile phone....LOL!. The WAR had been started but not for long when he made an apology. He said, that it was an accident calling me because the number that was stored in his phone book was the number of his girl friend...LOL! Can you imagine that the telephone number(9249698)of the girl(Rose) and my mobile number were exactly the same?!!! The only difference was that my mobile number starts from 0917(globe) and add the number of the girl(9249698)then sum up you will end up to this mobile number = 0917-9249698(my first mobile number!). Before, if you call through your mobile phone and just type the 7 numbers without adding the mobile phone network, you will end up calling the same network of your mobile phone provider. One in a million chances but God lend us the way to meet and to somehow know each other.

Hands-On Mother

For me, being a mother is the essence of a woman. And being the mother of three justifies my means of being a woman. I have 3 kids, 2 of them were already in the schooling years. I am very happy that I dont need to hire a private tutor to teach them...I am their tutor that's why my kids were one of the honor students of their class. You see, that is the reward of being a hands-on mother to your kids. You can guide them very very well in the right path. My youngest kid, a 2 y/o toddler is very naughty but smart. I know that he is happy that he can see me everyday. Eventhough I am a working mom, I can spend enough time for bonding because my work doesn't need to be away everyday. I can spend time bonding with my kids anytime that I want, I can work in the comfort of my own home and earn a rewarding big amount without the hassle and worries. It's great to be a mother of three and I love them very very much.

Well, where should I start?.....okay, I graduated in College with the Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy. Physical Therapy is a 5- year Paramedical course in the Philippines that engage in rehabilitating patients with disabilities. After I graduated, instead of taking the board exam, I rather chose to work first. You might think I'm crazy...but I am really crazy that time. I wanted to earn and help my parents that's why I decided to work in a Pharmaceutical Company...in short I first engaged myself in sales industry. I have worked as a Professional Medical Representative for 2 years in different Multinational Companies such as Roche, Takeda and Diethelm. Then transferred later on to Real Estate Industry and worked as Property Consultant in Federal Land, Inc-Metrobank Property. After 1 year of selling condoniminums, I later on decided to try my luck in my original field of work....treating patients with disabilities. Then I took the Licensure Exam last July 2005 and passed it with flying colors...hehe! And then voluntarily worked as a Physical Therapist for a very short period of time. There was something bothering me, in my mind and heart...I was not happy anymore with what I am doing. Then, really finally decided to go back to Real estate industry....in short Sales. Family is the most important part of the community. It is the source of one's well-being. If we said well-being it pertains to the attitude or character of one person towards other. Family is primarily composed of father, mother, daughter and son. You can call house a home if the family members are complete, loving, sharing and showing respect to each other. For me, my family is my life and my strength. They are the ones giving me the courage to strive hard to become successful in everything that I do. I am so thankful that I am married to Roldan, he is very supportive and very loving. I am glad that I have 3 wonderful kids. They are the ones giving me happiness in everyday of my life. What more can I ask for?.....hmmm I think nothing more......
